Utah Camping Gear Rentals collects the information needed to receive, review, confirm, and manage camping gear rental requests.

Information we collect

• Name, phone number, email address, requested rental dates, gear selections, pickup preference, request notes, contact-form topic, and messages submitted through the rental request or contact forms.
• Basic technical information such as IP address, browser details, and request data needed for security, abuse prevention, analytics, and site operation.
• Basic website analytics through Google Analytics, such as pages visited, approximate device/browser details, traffic source, and non-sensitive interaction events like rental request or contact-form success.
• Rental request and contact-source details, such as landing page, referring page, campaign labels, and ad click identifiers, so the owner can understand which website visits created real customer conversations.
• Rental request and admin records needed to operate the rental business.

How we use information

• To review rental requests, confirm availability, prepare pickup details, answer contact-form messages, and contact customers about their rental or question.
• To manage inventory, blocked dates, rental request records, customer support, and business operations.
• To understand website usage, improve the rental experience, and measure successful rental request or contact-form submissions without sending names, phone numbers, emails, or message text to analytics events.
• To protect the website, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain service reliability.

Email signups

If you join Campfire Circle or unlock an email-required resource or PDF/checklist, we store the email address you submitted, your optional name when provided, the signup or unlock source, the resource unlocked when applicable, the download access event when applicable, and a copy of the consent language shown at signup. Bulk email campaigns are not part of the current website foundation unless added later.

Payments and pickup paperwork

Payment, renter agreement, and card-on-file details are completed in person at pickup. Do not send card numbers or sensitive payment details through the request notes field.

Sharing

We do not sell customer information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website, process rental request emails, host data, or maintain security.
